On Sunday Margaret and I were guests of Jeff Johnson at the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach to see the classic musical South Pacific. Jeff is in the orchestra and plays the french horn. Jeff was a high school student when I was working as a librarian at the Mona Shores High School in in Muskegon, Michigan in the 1960's. He is having a wonderful career as a professional musician. He's a wonderfull guy! The production was as good as one can find on Broadway. Unlike many community theatres, Riverside is a real working theatre. The whole production is done on site, including all the sets. After the show we all went out back and had margaritas with the musicians and performers. How good was that!
