• Lake Worth

We spent most of the day at North Palm Beach - fixing, cleaning and organizing. We then did a quick hop to Lake Worth which is where we will head out from tomorrow morning. This is a working marina so our ‘slip’ is actually where they haul out boats. I had to climb a ladder to get off the boat and the dock is narrow and noisy. They were the only marina here with space so we are just grateful to be here, especially as the restrooms are surprisingly nice and the staff are very kind. We will be leaving at sunrise for a nine hour sail ocean side to Fort Lauderdale. The weather looks perfect with winds around 10 knots which should make for a great sail. This will be my first long sail on the ocean so I will be taking my sea sickness tablet first thing in the morning and look forward to avoiding the next 17 bridges on the ICW.
We had a lovely meal this evening and took Timmy for several walks so we are all ready for an early night.
