We got back to the boat around 10am and John immediately got to work. By happy hour John had fitted the new hatch in the fore cabin (yeah!), replaced a pin for the gate, and installed a new flush thingy for the toilet (heads). Pretty good going for one day. I was productive too - cleaning, researching, walking Timmy and perhaps a little game of Words with Friends. Although we are back on the boat we are still on the dock at Karen and Erle’s. They had other friends arrive today, and Laura and Shaw came over. All in all, ten people for a delicious meal served on the patio with the sound of water lapping against Solitude. Then back to the fore cabin to enjoy my new hatch. It is due to rain overnight so I will let you know if the job was successful tomorrow. The picture is from the beach in Boca that allows dogs.
