City Gates .....another legend

Ponta Delgada , Sao Miquel . The largest city in the Azores .The City Gates were built in 1753 and moved to their current location in 1952 . Another legend says that if you pass through the gates you will never leave the Azores . Depending on your inclination or general disposition , that could be the greatest thing ever or rather ominous .. Today , I gave it a wide berth .
