We are almost 1/2 way and the wind is increasing. Sleep is tough to get when the boat is rocking and rolling all day and all night long. Every time I finally fall asleep it is time to wake up and sail. I want to thank my friends Amy & Matt Johnson for stopping by the boat before we left on Sunday, it was great to see you guys again and my new boat shoes are very comfortable, Thanks Matt. I also want to thank Tom, Pam, Allison & Ryan for stopping by the boat on Monday before I left. Thanks for the chocolate, I might share some with the rest of the crew during the 1/2 way Party on Tuesday or maybe I will just keep t all to myself!

Hi Mom, I hope you found someone with a PC so you can follow the race. Hello to anyone at F&P who is following the race, take care and I will see you in two more weeks.

Extra:	2016 Update: The Year of the Kids! A lot of Worshams and those mental enough to be on a boat with them! In the Small World department, the Tiki J race crew, return crew (including Bill Sr) and shore support crew a.k.a. our extended families were saddened to learn of the passing of Charley [...] Dole in Hawaii earlier this year. Charley and the University of Hawaii collegiate sailing team stayed with us in Port Neches, TX during a regatta hosted by the Lamar University sailing team long ago (early '80s?) and we had several later occasions to stay in touch. Kim saw him after the 2010 Pac Cup when he was helming a J/24 in the local beer can race at age 90-something. We had hoped to see him again this summer. We will think about him often during the race and would like to lift a glass with others who knew him once we arrive in Hawaii. More
