Which Rope Do We Pull?

Well, it seems we didn't forget too much while we were gallivanting about away from the boat. A seamless, smooth exit from Cape Town at 07:15 bridge …. right into a flat calm.
However, it made for an easy start to get our sea legs. And sea stomach.
It turned into a lovely day, almost cloudless blue sky and smooth rolling seas. We've been reaching along smoothly all day looking to the shore at all the fab places we visited. So, it wasn't time wasted.
Fingers crossed, the wind stays where it is for overnight as we've yet to put in a reef and that involves a lot of rope, winches and buttons. In the dark.
