Solar: Up and Running

Yes, I spelled Turkiye right -- at least that is how the Turks spell it!
Wow! What a last couple of days! After Jim (Koza) and Will helped me get the major parts of the solar panel installation done I decided it was too close to completion to let wait. So I went at it yesterday morning and by midday I had completed all the hook-ups and we were operational!
I was/am totally stoked. We don't have an ammeter, so I was checking battery voltage every 2 min. just to see how it was working! I was like a little kid at Christmas!!
Last night we went over to Mehari for a "Last Dessert" -- which isn't exactly like a Last Supper, but it was close enough. We'll likely be saying good-bye to them today or tomorrow. Today we head out into the bay and I will give them a sailing lesson (they have only been sailing 2 years). Then we will head over to another bay to fill up from an artesian water source and from there drop the hook. Thurs. we head back to Marmaris.
In Marmaris I'll pick up the remaining team gear and parts for the dinghy and then we'll be off for Rhodos. Wheeee!!
