So our transit date has been pushed to Sat., Apr. 30. You ought to be able to check out their webcam on Sunday, May 1 at the Miraflores Locks around 11-12 in the morning Eastern Time, if you wish.

The ACP uses 'Advisors' for private yachts like ours and these guys moonlight from their regular jobs and sign up for dates they want to work. So if one decides he doesn't want to work on Friday, well, we get pushed to Sat. It is all pretty hokey and underscores the fact that the Ditch Dudes don't give a crap about us little guys. It is all about the big bucks!!

In any case, we are getting pretty excited. We got a dozen tires wrapped in plastic bags delivered today to act as additional fenders because the turbulence can be pretty big in these locks. Sue was able to change her flight so barring any more delays, we should have a full crew helping us through the locks. I think the anticipation is starting to build!!!
