Tinkertoo's adventures

After a night in Moelfre we move to Conwy. We were met by Elliot and Vicky. Jayne jumped ship and I cleaned the boat. On Friday Ruth joined for a weekend sailing. We went to puffin island for lunch and then moved to a mooring on the Menai Straits.

We moved along the Anglesey coast this morning to Moelfre. A warm sunny day with light winds. Tonight we had fish and chips something Jayne had been looking forward to since the start of our trip.

After leaving Port St Mary at 06.00 we arrived in Amlwch at 16.30. It was a good passage avaraging over 5 knots. It's good to be near home with no long sailing legs required.

We set off from Ardglass this morning @ 06.00 with a SW wind and had a great sail for the first 4 hours or so. At about 11.00 the mist came in as we closed the Isle of Man. We decided to go outside the Calf of Man and started to plot our position every 15...
