She's out!

So, she's out of the water without a mast. The expensive stuff begins...
Even though the bottom is not quite as bad as it appeared last year, we're moving forward with stripping it back. The extra 1/8th knot will be a pleasure to enjoy as we cross the Atlantic in June. Raising the waterline by an inch should help keep the waterline clean too.
We'll have a look on Wednesday at the mast foot - see what corrosion is there - this has apparently been a bit of an issue on Outbounds...
Friday we're off to the Defender Sale to spend all our hard earned kitty!
