Even colder than the trip up to Swanwick as into the breeze coming up the Solent. However, the journey was well worth it as the rig was given a cautious nod of approval for a sensible season’s use in reasonable winds. Allspars took the opportunity to measure up for the winter replacement - one of the big items on the refit list. Both of us were impressed with Topaz in the water but glad to be back at the pontoon with the electric heater on.
Met a drone operator on the footpath outside Swanwick Marina while walking Buzz and he kindly took some great aerial pictures of her on a frozen pontoon. Thanks very much Daniel!
