Getting ready for sailing

A week today and we can go sailing again! More preparation at the boat on the trots yesterday with additional sorting out of all the equipment. However, quite a bit still needs to be done - it was too windy to put up the sails for example. We also have to go back up to Totnes to have the protective box measured to fit around the new autopilot linear drive. Without it there would be the risk that anything put in the stern locker would interfere with the pilot’s operation. The old sprayhood is back up for the trip to Lymington and a new liferaft has been ordered from Ocean Safety - delivery in about three weeks, again to Totnes for Baltic Wharf to fit. As you can see, the Bluetooth battery monitor shows the solar panel and wind turbine were outpacing the fridge yesterday (+5.01A) even though it wasn’t particularly sunny.
