Sailed - or rather motor sailed- yesterday from expensive Vilamoura marina to the peace of Ferragudo. Not only had the price of a birth tripled to more than €40 a night but the Vilamoura Motor Boat Show starts tomorrow and the place was heaving. Still the marina was a good safe place to leave Topaz Rival while I took advantage of Portugal’s brief green list status to fly home for a few days. A very strong wind is blowing at the moment so have made sure the outboard is well attached this time. Expect to move to Lagos on Sunday ready to meet Deb and Erik who fly in on Tuesday. It will be good to catch up with those still remaining in Lagos marina.
