Deb and Erik have now gone back to the UK and the Netherlands respectively and I am left the peace and quiet of Culatra all to myself. I really like this place - maybe the lack of cars, the laid back feel, and the open scenery adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The wind in the afternoon has a tendency to blow quite hard which can make the evening dog walk dinghy ride bumpy but the endless beach and sea marsh scenery go a long way to make up. Next it's a 60 mile journey to Mazagon as the tides are not right for getting to Ayamonte for another week.
