Had a lovely birthday yesterday in Exeter with Dawn treating me to lunch at a riverside pub. Sunny and warm, we took the dogs for a romp by the river where they also managed a quick dip. Likely to be in Dartmouth a bit longer than anticipated as Nick (engine) is away this week and can't fit the new rev counter (under warranty) until Saturday morning in Brixham. Although sunny in Exeter yesterday, it's thick mist here today. Walked up to Noss marina where it is all change with 100 new berths on swanky pontoons. All very smart but the place seems to have lost a bit of its charm. Downriver berths are very tricky on the flood tide apparently, with quite a few "incidents".
