First solo of the season up the Creek

I failed to actually get a cockpit table at the end of the trip to Cobbs Quay in Poole Harbour. But at least we have been measured up ready for when new supplies of the mounting bracket are delivered by Lewmar. KT Howells, the makers of the tables say they have been on order for the past two months so it will be touch and go whether one is available before the planned June departure. After leaving the spectacular Sails bridge out of Poole town Buzz and I had a fast trip to Newtown Creek with Topaz under mainsail and genoa enjoying the wind with speeds (tide assisted) of up to 8.3 knots. Picked up a mooring ball in Newtown Creek which was lovely and empty on a Monday in May.
