Long life batteries

Richard and I had a weightlifting exercise loading four new Rolls AGM batteries to replace the ones I have somehow destroyed in record time. We took Topaz Rival to Port Solent Marina to allow loading from a pontoon connected to the shore rather than having to rely on the dinghy to transport the batteries with each weighing around 33 kg. Ecobat, who gave me a big discount given the history of the old ones, armed me with new instructions Ecobat on how to look after my batteries, I am determined to get maximum life this time. While in Port Solent, we also lifted the liferaft off the cockpit rails ready for servicing on Wednesday. Planned UK departure time is getting closer and we keep looking at the weather from the 20th onwards now that the weather forecast for then is coming into view.
