Crew change at Roscoff

Yesterday was the last day's sailing for Didi, as she sails home from Roscoff tomorrow on the ferry. Quite a day, around 10 hours, most of it beating into a strong Westerly wind. We had a choice of doing the trip either yesterday or today, but the forecast was for roughly identical weather so we went for the first opportunity. Good decision as the head wind is probably even stronger this morning than it was yesterday. The marina in Roscoff is modern and functional (and close to the ferry!) but the town is pretty and full of restaurants and bars. Big in smuggling to Britain in the day, as well as the starting point for the classic French onion sellers on their bikes in the 1950s. Will be here a few days before Dawn arrives next week, hopefully we will get better weather as we head to Southern Brittany.
