Thought Gus and I should take advantage of what would probably be the best wind of his week on Topaz Rival and sail towards Baiona. We had between 10 and 20 knots on a very broad reach all the way from Muros (about 40 miles) with not too much swell on a lovely sunny day. Pretty good indeed and the best sailing of the trip so far. We anchored up in the Ensenada da Barra, picking up a lump of weed at the first attempt but holding firm on the second. Lovely beach where clothing is optional apparently! Took Buzz for a walk to the Point Subrido lighthouse early this morning, but so few people about to confirm this theory and a bit too far out to be certain without using binoculars last night, which would have been a very unacceptable thing to do. Very peaceful with no buildings on shore, no bars or restaurants, just sand and woods behind.
