Topping up the ship’s stores

After a few days at anchor, it is good to get to a sizeable town to stock up on essentials. Just opposite the marina at Figueira da Foz is a town market, stuffed full of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. A short bike ride away is the usual supermarket to fill in the holes in Topaz’s supplies. Motored down the coast yesterday from Aveiro as the wind was on the nose - luckily not very strong. We were accompanied by Maeva, a Belgian boat with another collie on board of a similar age to Buzz, Dulcie I think he is called, and Majic, a German Bavaria 32, both of which are also tied up in the marina.
