Gus and I made a quick dash over to Montserrat - it wasn't meant to be so quick but the second night was very rolly with the forecast for it to be even worse the next day. Nevertheless we had a good sail over and the following day went on an island tour, including going into the volcano exclusion zone. The volcano has not erupted since 2010 and the ash flows Dawn and I saw in 2016 has now largely been covered with vegetation. Hot and wet weather plus fertile volcanic soil means things grow fast!
