Sailing up the sound of jura on a very cool but clear day. The 3 Paps are Juras peaks.

After a week of rexommisioning in Ardrossan and fully recovered from jet lag, we crossed the Clyde to Campbelltown, a lovely town used as a jumling off point to roumd the Mull of Kintyre. Today we round the Mull and sail north to the community owned isle of Gigha.

The water is green in the irish sea..of course. 130 NM overnight passage to Lamlash bay, Arran Island. 22 hrs and mostly an easy one except for the foul 2kt tidal current in the North Channel around midnight.

HYC allows visitors when members vacate their slips. We were lucky enough to get one and today I'm walking the cliff trail.
