La Rochelle
Here we are in La Rochelle, we have a really noisy berth in the visitors pontoon watching the Grand Pavois boat show being set up. Unfortunately the weather isn't being too kind, high winds, torrential rain, thunderstorms and lightning all making life on board a bit uncomfortable. So much so that the first day of the show as been cancelled because of the weather. Hopefully the show should be open for Clive's credit cards tomorrow Thursday 17th Sept.
Roscoff to L'Aber Wrach

Set off for L'Aber Wrach via the channel Ile De Batz before sailing to windward in a 9 to 11 knot wind, good sailing.
Unfortunately this didn't last and soon dropped to 8, 7, 6 then 5 knots and we ended up motoring the 2nd half to L'Aber Wrach.
Stunning coastline with so many rocks everywhere, so spotting the channel in was vital.
Ended up moored to the outer marina wave break an Santosha had to raft up to us for the 2 nights.
All round to Santosha for drinks where Gary and Sarah were excellent hosts - late dinner tonight!!
