Tough Day

For the last two days we've had unsettled seas of at least 10 feet. This morning the wind quieted down to around 15 knots and we fired up the engine to help get us through the waves. That works for about an hour, then the squalls began - about every hour a squall would blow through with winds between 30 and 40 knots and heavy rain. Needless to say,not much fun, not much sun and not much was dry all day. The squalls stopped this afternoon and while the seas a 10-15' we're on a relatively comfortable heading pointing right at Barbuda and making 8 knots. If we're able to maintain that speed (we won't) we'll be in Jolly Harbour tomorrow night but in any case, I expect to clear in on Friday, the 16th.
