It is brutally hot - the temperature is 90 F (32C for you metric folks) which isn't all that bad but the humidity has to be at least 1000% and
there's not a cloud in the sky. Thankfully there's a nice 15 knot breeze or I'd just sit around sweating all day. As it is, going below is not an
option without running the A/C which just doesn't seem right while underway. So I suffer. :) Not really - it's the 4th straight day of near
perfect sailing conditions. The winds is 15-20 knots most of the time, we're on a broad reach on the starboard tack and the waves have
moderated to about 6 feet - the absolute best point of sail for Traveller. We've logged about 500 miles and have about 1000 still to go. I
expect we'll get there in about a week. I'll start giving more accurate ETA's in a few days as I don't yet know what the weather will be like
for the rest of the trip.
