We actually took Sunday off from actual work on the boat. We did have to go shopping and do laundry after Church, but we did no actual work on the boat.
We have made great progress. Nancy has gotten all of the glue left over from the shrink wrap tape off the boat and has wiped down most of the inside of the boat with Murphy's Oil soap. She has washed mirrors, windows and begun on the upper helm. I have finished up the disconnecting of the overboard discharge of the toilets and the holding tank, put in new sight glasses on the fuel tanks and fresh water tanks. The running lights are all working as they should. I have changed out a very old cassette player in the boat with a new cd/auxiliary input model and wired in a 12v cigarette power adapter.
Of course, today, just as the marina was going to work on the bow pulpit and anchor windlass, it started raining. The rain has stopped for the night and we are looking at a beautiful sunset. The next 3 days are supposed to be sunny and warm, so we are going to get work done on the outside of the boat. Wash, and possibly wax at least the hull before the boat goes in the water, probably the first of next week.
Having a frige and freezer certainly makes it nice. Tonight we picked up some 'Heath' Klondike bars, of which we will be eating very shortly.
So far all is going well. It is actually beginning to take shape and not be as messy. We have been getting rid of boxes and 'stuff', which is great. Hope every one is doing well. Oh, I'll probably get my stitches out on Friday.
