Skinny Anchorage

19 April 2011 | Daytona Beach
Nancy
Anchor up in Titusville at 8:45 am. We managed to get through all the real "skinny" areas of the ICW without a problem. Mosquito Lagoon was very beautiful with lots of birds and manatees. Too bad the channel was so narrow. New Smyrna Beach was a pretty community as well.

Had the jib sail up and down as the ICW and the wind permitted. The usual. The anchorage south of the Memorial Bridge in Daytona was a bit skinny but doable. Lots of current. Not nearly as deep as the charted depths.

Dropped anchor at 2 pm.
