After spending six nights in this beautiful island of Trizonia we set off on our next journey. We paid our one euro each and boarded the 7am ferry for the five minute trip to the mainland where we took a bus to Athens via Mount Parnassus and Delphi - a spectacular journey. We found a hotel, booked in for the night and then took the metro to the city centre for a quick sightseeing trip.
We so enjoyed seeing Athens and luckily we still had time in hand for more before our flight to Rome the next afternoon.
