Santa Martinella/Anzio/Ischia

We did roll about in a strong wind at anchor in Santa Martinella but then had a good sail with a beam wind to take us further south to ANZIO Bay for a quiet night at anchor. The next day we had a long sail to the island of Ischia where we arrived at night and anchored under the spectacular illuminated Castello d'Ischia. As we needed fuel we motored round to PORT D'ISCHIA, got our fuel and then were persuaded to tie up for the night on his pontoon by the Ormaggiatore. It was a good break in a lovely small town. The restaurants all looked to be first class and we lunched out in one where we all tasted porcini mushrooms for the first time - delicious !
