Packing up the house

The house is all packed up and the tenants have moved in. It was surprisingly emotional, watching our worldly possessions and the memories of 10 years living here, disappear off down the road on the back of a truck. However, there was no time for tears, as I got going with 2 days cleaning the house and tidying the garden. Thanks to Mike, Heather and Annette for your help! Also thanks to Jean and Annette for fostering house plants! No room for a rubber plant, peace lily or swiss cheese plant on the boat!
As Angus pointed out, although it is the end of that chapter, we have now created an opportunity for a new adventure. We have booked flights for the children to join us in Vanuatu, so everyone is now getting excited.
So with the house taken care of, we can now focus on getting ourselves and Tuarangi ready to set off at the end of this month. A few more work commitments to attend to and then we are free!
