Day 1
10 March 2015 | Tasman Sea !
Salty & Briny
We have been at sea for a day now and are settling in to routines for passaging. We had a gentle motor/motor sail down the Derwent and across Storm Bay, then sailed round Cape Raoul and Tasman Island - both looking stunning in the evening light - before heading out int the Tasman Sea. Have suggested to Simon, that in the interests of maintaining harmony on board, his rendition of '1199 miles to go, to go' be limited to every hundred, rather than every mile!
