Enjoying really nice weather and a good passage to date. Making steady progress in a variety of wind strengths. Today didn't start too well for me as I climbed onto the seat at the top of the companionway to enjoy my breakfast in the sunshine, when a sudden lurch of the boat saw me drop my muesli bowl back to the galley floor below. You would not believe how far a cup of muesli, with a dollop of yoghurt and a sliced banana can go. For those of you who know the boat, we even found bits of muesli stuck above the hand rail! So I washed the floor and the galley and then my trousers (quick drying techno slacks!) and started again, now being a proper kiwi in my shorts and long johns.
