Stuck in Curacao due to high winds! The passage to Santa Marta in Colombia is potentially a very tricky area due to headlands, mountains and ocean shelving, all of which can lead to higher than forecast winds and big confused seas, making the decision on when to go and which way to go (inshore or offshore) very difficult. Its only a short hop of less than 400nm or just over two days, but a bit stressful decision-making! No sarcy comments please on our stress levels...

Luckily the sun is shining most of the time, the snorkelling is great and the food and boat shopping excellent, and we are getting a couple of boat maintenance jobs done whilst here.
