Waiting for transit
05 February 2014 | Shelter Bay MArina, Colon, Panama
Chris/Drizzly
Good short passage down from Portobello, calm seas and a light breeze for a spinnaker broad reach through the ranks of waiting ships, and in to the calm of the harbour and then the marina.
Waiting for canal measurement and transit date, but there are no delays at present, so we should be able to transit Monday or Tuesday next week. We are going as line handlers on a friends catamaran on Friday, so that should give us an idea of what awaits us!
In the meantime, provisioning is the order of the day!
