Well, we talked to the weather forecaster, and the Fort Bragg Coast Guard, and it looks like we better bite the bullet and go today. If we don't, the next short weather window isn't til Sunday.

So, we're leaving in a few minutes for Fort Bragg. If the bar isn't breaking, we stop there until Sunday, then head to Bodega Bay. If the bar is breaking, we'll keep going.

So, we're in for either 17 or 30 hours. I'll sure be glad to get around Cape Mendocino and into San Francisco!
