Rick / Clear windy / 15 plus knot wind
We had a great sail down to San Diego Bay from Mission Bay. Good wind but seas were rough with a mixed swell. But Ok that is part of the fun. We got anchored off the golf coarse on the south side. Trip length was 3.5 hours Typical anchor drop for us. Wind was howling and we pulled anchor twice finally set good but double anchored to be sure. Also added some snubbing to get better chain angle. Hey I wanted to have my wine and relax. And watch the other boats drift by. Nice boat parade. Ha Ha. Another learning experience. This is a great anchor spot with beautiful views of the Hotel Del Coronado and the harbor. Bring a dingy or some tender really need to go a shore and check Coronado out.

About:
Mary is always ready for an adventure I throw at her. As we try this we will enjoy every trip we can do. My bother Russ is the experience. He is the one with all the knowledge that keeps the right perspective to keep the even keel we need. [...]
Extra: I want to get a good trip put together as we learn the cruising in and outs on the West Coast. Give us some idea's when you get a chance. Hopefully Mexico and further north of San Diego / Los Angeles are soon on the Horizon.
