Sail to the Coronados

Had a friend rent a 36 Catalina. As a fairly new boat this was a lot of fun to sail. With furling main and all the bells and whistles. Tacking out though the crowd was a chore but once clear and had the direct course we set our heading and headed south to the islands just south into Mexico. Always a fun trip and killed a good ten hours of fun sailing. Not a lot of motoring involved with this course and the prevailing winds out and back. Picture's to follow. We have to wait for the camera to come back from another trip. The 36 Catalina is a beauty. I'm not a big fan but I wouldn't turn down a trip with one of these. We got great speed from her for her size. I had a very good time. Thanks Capt. Bob.
