Tom
One of the things on the list to replace before we leave was our house battery bank. OUr old one being 8 years old. Electrical usage on board is pretty low compared to many boats. We have refrigeration and pressure water but after that power draw is limited to things like laptop computer and lights. I changed out every bulb to LED's and that made an incredible difference to the power required for lighting. Hopefully these 2 big 12V golf cart batteries will do the trick. Combined we have Approx. 350Amp hours or conservatively 44 hours of power without any added. But we'll see.
Big Thanks to the O'Farrell's for dropping off the new Batteries and especially to Sue for braving the big dogs and picking up the batteries at GNB in Hamilton.
