On to Solomans

After refueling and filling the water tank we tore ourselves away from the Sassafras and headed south down the Chesapeake. We anchored overnight in Magothy River and left early the next morning for a long run down to Soloman’s Island. This is a cool place. If you were a sailboat and wanted to go somewhere were you’d feel at home this would be the place. There are masts everywhere and in every direction. The people seem nice and the anchorage is filled with boats from distant places. France, Ireland, Toronto. Ya I know, exotic right!
Did some boat jobs today. Our inverter fried itself yesterday which was sad because the thing cost a lot of cash. I read the service manual and it apparently has limitations regarding the number of princess movies it can provide power too. Who new!! We are way over that so I guess I shouldn’t complain. They have also gone way down in price.
Speaking of down in price I bought 2, 24’s of “Canadian Style” Beer, Cans 5.5% alcohol for $9.99 each. $9.99 for 24 cans of beer! What the!!
And the best part is that its really good beer!!! $9.99 I can’t say it enough!
I’m going back in the morning for more. I can’t say how much more… but>> well A lot!!!!!
We’ve added a new movie and some photos also. I still haven’t caught any crabs but its only a matter of time.
thank you Patrice and Annik for the Pictures!
