3 Days in Solomans

Solomans has been good to us! We've been here 3 days now and the harbour is well protected. We are anchored near the back so things are nice and quite on the water. Different story in the air. There is a Naval air base across the Patuxent River that produces none stop air traffic of every type. Fighters screening by at high speed, huge transport plans, choppers, etc., fortunately they all shut it down in the evening.
We took the local bus service to do some shopping yesterday. Stopped by West Marine, and of course got more beer $9.99 did I mention that. Also it is imported from Calgary so we are still supporting the Canadian economy. I fixed a leaking hatch a couple days ago and we had the repair tested with big Rain! All good! Yeh. We also visited the local Marine museum. Which is really great. Then had to motor back in the rain.
Today is Laundry day and a trip to the Park. Tomorrow morning we are heading out for Tangier Island an old Crabbing town and then on to Deltaville.
