With the cutlass bearing fixed we made our way to Lake Worth where we were able to meet back up with La Smala. We rented a car together to get the last of our provisioning done. We also picked some spare parts got the propane tanks filled and got Eva a new life jacket. She’s grown so much her old one is to tight.
Once the last of the canned food, pasta and Tom and Eva’s candy supply got put away we headed further done the ICW to Lake Boca Ratan then to Fort Lauderdale. 2 days and 20 lift bridges since we left Lake Worth. We have been traveling through some of the richest real estate in the US. Humongous homes, massive boats, equals Humassive (Eva’s word) money!!
Tomorrow we exit the ICW and go off shore to Miami, which is our last stop before crossing to the Bahamas!!!! Can’t believe we are almost there!!!!
There is a possible weather window opening for a crossing sometime between this Saturday night and Wednesday.
