We would never have gone into Fort Edward without Richard and Nicole on Coeur de lion leading the way as depths were not marked on the chart right to the town dock. We were so glad we did get to see this charming quiet town off the Champlain Canal which came with a free dock, free electricity (we have really appreciated being able to run the air conditioning with the high temps), bathrooms and water.
