The last of the Mahi-mahi
03 April 2018 | Leaving Chub Cay
Partly cloudy. Mid 70’s. 11 knot easterly breeze
The forecast bad winds are coming sooner rather than later, so we left now for Florida. The trouble with not being preemptive is that now we are rushing to get there before night fall. They made this trip in 26 hours in Keith’s boat, so we are hoping to do the same. Motor sailing at 6.8 knots now ... wait, 7.1 Fingers crossed.
Yesterday, while sailing, Roger caught another Mahi-Mahi. So fresh fish was our last dinner in the Bahamas. We had lunch out for our last meal today.
In a hurry - gotta go.
