Nothing happened here ... just the (trip) facts.
11 May 2018 | St Augustine
Sunny, low 90’s. Hot until cooling ocean breeze came.
On this date in 2018 on Last Chance, nothing happened. Well, we did do laundry and I used my heat gun to do some shrink wrapping. We also took down the genoa and folded it on the boat - with mixed success. After the second try, it was still too big, but we managed to cram it into the sail bag anyway. Hopefully I can refold it on land, but because I am trying to take the boat apart next week, it calls for storms all next week, for the first time on the trip.
Pat leaves early tomorrow morning - she wants a 4:45am dinghy ride. I sure hope she finds one.
On this trip, which started last July, I have traveled 4,035 nautical miles (4,643 miles) and run the engine for 704 hours. I have one last short trip Monday to the marina. I didn't need to run the engine to charge my batteries, and in the Bahamas, I made all my own fresh water.
