They have started work on my keel. They should also be starting on the rudder. I missed going to the boat today - sitting with Pat in the ER instead. She was there yesterday, they sent her home, she had a bad night and morning, so the doctor sent her back to the hospital. All tests have been negative and she seems to be getting better, so fingers crossed. They are keeping her overnight this time. Abdominal/back pain and nausea are the issues. She has started sipping water now without losing it, so that is a step forward.

Late afternoon on Monday, a recently launched boat came back to the boatyard. Where I had a crack in the keel/hull joint, it had a noticeable gap. The next morning, the keel was missing - presumably being worked on. So one doesn’t need to go to the ocean to wreck one’s keel. You can do it right here.
