We’re feeling much better now, doctor.

Cloudy and cool, then sunny
I sprung Pat loose from the hospital yesterday after they ran out of tests to do on her. She is back to her normal self, just a little worse for wear. Pat may still be working, but her gall bladder no longer is. Yesterday evening she attended my concert at Friendship Village and reconnected with old friends. It was supposed to be an outdoor concert, but due to weather concerns, they moved it indoors. That worked - it was bright and sunny all afternoon and evening.
The keel is also doing well, and lost a little weight - just a few ounces - not as much weight as Pat lost. About a golf ball size amount of lead. After some discussion about the rudder post, that repair has been started. The post wasn't centered as expected, which caused some concern. I think it has always been positioned where it is, so they are going with that.
I am washing and waxing my blue Awlgrip hull. There is a white coating on it that isn't coming off, so I will have to up my buffing game this fall. From a distance, it looks okay. Seeing the dings and scrapes up close is painful ... Erie Canal, Nassau gas dock, and yes, the anchor did nick the bow near the water line that one time. Darn!
