Bill
We have finally started our adventure. We left FWB,Fl this morning knowing the day would be windy and rainy. Since we were on the ICW to Panama City it wouldn't be a problem. The rain didn't catch us until we arrived in P.C. but since the front slowed some, our pleasant Friday/Saturday sail to Tampa Bay will be delayed by one day. Friday looks nasty in the gulf now. We decided to stay at a marina instead of just anchoring because there are tornados and strong straight line winds forcast for tonight. We are actually at a dock on the South side of a two story resturant. As I look out the companion way the rain is blowing sideways. We are protected by the building from the worst of the North wind but the wind is really howling and the boat is rocking. Our mast is definately taller than the resturant and it is catching lots of wind.
We will try another entry when we reach Tampa.
