First Away weekend of the season
06 April 2015 | Loch Goil
Morning Mist/Afternoon Sun
Our first weekend away of 2015 with a successful shake down of the winter modifications. The new hatches & windows have transformed the boat but what a difference on power consumption with the new LED bulbs throughout.
After breakfast we left Loch Goil homeward bound in a morning mist. Entering the Clyde estuary the mist started to clear and with the wind 40 degrees off the starboard bow we emerged from the fog into a stunning sunlit day with the boat on full song at 6.7 knots.
Come lunchtime the wind died, so lunch on deck was the order of the day before returning to the marina late afternoon.
Oh happy days
