Met Paul and his friends on wednesday evening just after the G9 blew through. Thursday 14th SW 4/5, blue sky and doing 8 knots. Sailed down to West Solent and dropped anchor for lunch at Newtown Creek. After relaxing lunch prepared by Karoline, washed down with some light!!!! refreshments, sailed out towards the needles and then nice run back into Lymington.
Moored up at Dan Bran moorings Lymington, pre-dinner drinks in Royal Lymington Yacht Club and then to dinner at the Mayflower.
Finished excellant day with late night drinks on a clear, flat night with nearly full moon.
"What a difference a day makes"
Woke (Frid 15th) up to a lovely blue sky with the expectation of a warm day, NW wind with a run to Cowes and then home to Hamble. What could be better?
