I am new here and this is my first post. I have a boat for quite some time now. Most of the time i was sailing with my dad, but he is a bit old now and time is for me to take his place as a "captain".
I was thinking about adding a some alternative power source to my boat and the best idea i've came up with was to buy a small solar generator.
I don't know much about generators so i did some research, and i have found this website link. If any of you more experienced sailors could tell me a thing or two about this idea it would be great.
My dad thinks i don't need it, but i think that it would be good to have something like a solar generator, or solar charged battery pack on my boat.
